We are taking over Drei Austria’s data center, expanding our data center infrastructure to a total of four locations in Vienna. The site at Heiligenstädter Lände 27c is being extensively modernized, technically upgraded, and sustainably enhanced—seamlessly integrated into the existing next layer network. Thanks to targeted investments, we offer our customers a stable, highly available, and future-proof data center hub in the north of Vienna. With direct connections to the fiber backbone of next layer and other network operators, as well as seamless integration with our existing data center sites and the major internet exchange points VIX1 (University of Vienna), VIX2 (Digital Realty), and VIX3 (NTT) at the Vienna Internet Exchange, this location ranks among the best-connected data centers in Austria.

Electricity

Climate Control

  • Cold aisle air temperature is regulated according to ASHRAE 2021 Class A1 between 15°C and 32°C, and relative humidity between 8% and 80%
  • Temperature and humidity sensors are installed at key locations throughout the data center

  • All Cabinets are pre-wired with redundant Cat5e / Cat6a and prepared for fiber optics
  • Redundant connection of the data center to diverse fiber routes
  • Direct connection to next layer’s 500 km metro network and Austrian backbone
